Erin Bohman grew up in Farmington, MO. She started her college career at Missouri State University in Springfield, where she enjoyed the Ozark Mountains. A longing for the West and younger mountains drew her to the University of Montana in Missoula, MT, where she finished her degree in biology and met Charles (her TA for mammalogy!). After several years of travel and field jobs, she and Charles now live in Ithaca, NY. Read more about her travels over the last year at 
Growing up on the outskirts of Cleveland was hard on charles, and after numerous attempts to swim the Cuyahoga River he was forced to don protective gear to block the sun's deadly rays. From time to time he writes about Sapsucker Woods (where he currently works)--read more about it at

Oooohhh la la! We were so excited to get your postcard and hear of this happy celebration! We will be there with bells on (well, Amy will be anyway). We can’t wait to see you both—it has been way too long! Congratulations!

Rick and I would like to be added to your yes column! Our travel buddies include our Charlie and Ben. We’ll keep our Lucy puppy home…. we can not wait to see you and see Ithaca and have fun! See you soon! I think 8 weeks, is that right???

In a week I’m driving to beautiful Ithaca to see my cousin and her man get married. I can’t wait. Bohman family events/vacations are always a good time!
