The date is getting close and planning/implementation is starting to go into overdrive! Hopefully we’ll make it to the end of August with a smile still on our faces
One thing that keeps us smiling is thinking about all of you heading to Ithaca for our wedding, and we’ve been thinking of the extraordinary distances that you’ll be traveling to get here. To help give you an idea about the geographical spread of the attendees we made a Google Map and a word cloud to get a better sense of the spread as well as the proportional representation of different states at the wedding (click the map for a larger interactive version):

Erin Bohman grew up in Farmington, MO. She started her college career at Missouri State University in Springfield, where she enjoyed the Ozark Mountains. A longing for the West and younger mountains drew her to the University of Montana in Missoula, MT, where she finished her degree in biology and met Charles (her TA for mammalogy!). After several years of travel and field jobs, she and Charles now live in Ithaca, NY. Read more about her travels over the last year at
Growing up on the outskirts of Cleveland was hard on charles, and after numerous attempts to swim the Cuyahoga River he was forced to don protective gear to block the sun's deadly rays. From time to time he writes about Sapsucker Woods (where he currently works)--read more about it at
